Formada en 1995 en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, la banda Poket dió de que hablar desde sus inicios. En 1996, con
menos de un año de existencia, la banda gana el primer lugar en el Phoenix; concurso nacional de rock que debutaba ese año.
La banda editó 3 discos "Estrella" (1998), "Más Aceitosos Que Nunca" (2001) y "Yo Amo Poket" (2003).
La agrupación decide separarse en agosto del 2003.
